How It Works
How the Clinical Placement Process Works
​
Step 1: Submit Your Rotation Request
Begin by completing the clinical rotation request form with your program details, preferred dates, and required clinical hours.

Step 2: Preceptor Review
Once your request is submitted, Tiffany Watson, PMHNP at Cultivating Mind LLC will review your rotation request and student profile to ensure it aligns with clinical availability and your school’s requirements.
This review process typically takes 5–7 business days.

Step 3: Acceptance & School Paperwork
If your request is accepted, required university paperwork will be prepared.

If your school paperwork is already on file, it will be completed and provided to you.

If your school requires paperwork to be sent directly, your program will instead complete a Preceptor and Administrator Information Form.
*The full paperwork process may take up to 14 business days.

Step 4: Documentation & Payment
Once all paperwork is completed, you will receive an email notifying you that your documents are ready for download.
At this time:

Your remaining balance will be due

You may choose to:

Pay in full, or
-
Select a flexible payment option, including a 12-month installment plan for qualifying rotations

*Please note: If payment or a payment plan is not selected, the remaining balance will be automatically charged within 14 calendar days.

Step 5: Submit to Your University
Along with your completed paperwork, you will receive:

Preceptor résumé
-
Active license information
-
Board certification documentation
Submit all materials to your university as soon as possible. It is recommended that you follow up periodically with your clinical coordinator to monitor approval status.

Step 6: Begin Your Clinical Rotation
Once your school approves the placement, you’re ready to begin your clinical rotation with structured mentorship and hands-on psychiatric mental health experience.
